Moving abroad
You are moving abroad or you expect to live abroad for a minimum of 8 months. Report your departure at the earliest 5 days before your date of departure. You can ask for a proof of deregistration.
You and everyone who is leaving at your address must personally come to the counter. This also applies to minors. Schedule an appointment within 5 working days before your departure.
What you should bring with you
Take these documents with you to your appointment
- Passport or identity card
- New address abroad
If you do not yet have a home address, please report which country you are moving to. And if possible the first address where you can be reached, for example the address of a family member or a hotel.
